Rice Design Alliance: ADAPT Home Tour 2019

Selected to express one way in which changing environmental conditions affect the built landscape, this new construction is a home elevated to stay out of flood waters. Built in a historically mid-century neighborhood, low sloped roof forms, thin and long eave overhangs and modular brick cladding help this home feel contextual. Photography by Hannah Key.
