  • Meyerland New Construction

This 2800 SF new home was born when the Owner's existing home flooded in 2015. Using commercial construction techniques, the finish floor is an elevated concrete slab with crawl space below per flood control requirements. Large windows and treetop views were important upgrades. Keeping a low roof profile and a knod to mid-century modular brick cladding helps this new home feel familiar to the homeowners. This house was featured on the Rice Design Alliance: ADAPT home tour in 2019. Photography by Cameron Blaylock.
